Cliff College Festival is an annual celebration where Christians from across the country spend a weekend together on God’s holy ground, learning from his Word and encountering his Spirit. This year’s Festival takes place from 24-27 May 2024, and we’d love for you to join us.
This year our Cliff Festival theme is Rerouted: Making Peace on the Journey. Together we’ll be exploring the journey of the exodus and how God was and is faithful to his people and his promises; and throughout the weekend, in music and art, Bible studies and seminars, prayer and conversations, we’ll encounter the same faithful God and be equipped to follow him into where he’s leading us.
Our speakers and contributors for the weekend include Matt Miofsky, author and pastor of The Gathering Church in St Louis, Missouri; Heather Morris from the Methodist Church in Ireland; Nathan McGuire, a Baptist minister currently working with the Joint Public Issues Team; folk duo Our Atlantic Roots; the award-winning EAGA Gospel Choir; and comedian Andy Kind.
Whether you’re coming by yourself, or with your family and friends, or with a church group, you’ll be welcomed into Cliff Festival’s community of worship. Our day at Festival starts with some all-age worship, before our morning Bible studies give us a chance to dive deeper into the book of Exodus. Throughout each afternoon there are seminars, workshops, music and drama performances, prayer walks, picnics, mocktails, sing-along movies, games and challenges – you’re sure to find something you love. Our evening services are full of Spirit-filled worship and inspiring Bible teaching, and you can finish off the day with one of our Festival fringe events.
We think it’s so important that children and young people get the opportunity to engage with age-appropriate worship and Bible teaching, and spend time with other Christians their own age – so Cliff Festival has dedicated youth and children’s venues for babies and toddlers, pre-schoolers, primary school and secondary school children. We also have a young adults’ venue for those aged 18-30. Plus, entry to Cliff Festival is free for under-18s!
Cliff Festival takes place in the grounds of Cliff College, in the beautiful Peak District in Derbyshire. We have plenty of space for camping and caravanning as well as some indoor accommodation for those of you who aren’t so keen on the outdoor life! Come and worship with us, surrounded by stunning views of God’s creation and in the company of God’s people from all walks of life and church backgrounds.
Whether you’re aged 9, 19 or 79, we’d love to see you at Cliff Festival – we know that you’ll find opportunities to meet with God and be transformed by the Spirit over the weekend. Tickets, camping and accommodation are available on our website.
