Dr Leroy Logan MBE is a former police superintendent in the Metropolitan Police. He was both a founding member of the Black Police Association and its chairman for 30 years. He is the author of Closing Ranks: My life as a cop (SPCK), which was dramatised by Steve McQueen as part of his award-winning film anthology Small Axe.
